    The Motic K-Series incorporates a common main objective (CMO) Infinity optical system. With this Infinity optical system the K-Series delivers distortion-free, three-dimensional and parfocal images throughout the magnification range. Furthermore it allows the adaptation of a discussion bridge (DSK models) and accessories like the drawing attachment.

    Thanks to the modular system, this stereo microscope series can be easily configured and adapted to the application needs and working environment. A broad selection of stands, additional objective lenses and light sources is available.

    Stereozoom Microscope Series

    The SMZ-140 line is the most versatile stereomicroscope manufactured by Motic. The list of applications may seem only a few, but each day presents another opportunity to incorporate this fantastic microscope into one’s system. The basic model is a zoom stereomicroscope system with a zoom ratio of 1:4 and a working distance of 80 mm based upon the Greenough optical system. The Greenough optical system displays crisp, stereoscopic images while having the ruggedness to handle harsh environments of the laboratory or machines.

    With three optical carrier options and numerous stands and accessories, the SMZ-140 can be configured to your requirements. The overall system produces a maximum magnification of 180X and a maximum working distance of 200mm depending on the configuration chosen by you.

    The SMZ-171 stereomicroscope provides the highest quality optics of Motics stereomicroscopes. Featuring a high-quality Greenough zoom lens configuration, the SMZ-171 displays crisp, clear, distortion-free images while maintaining the durability and reliability needed from a stereomicroscope in professional settings. The zoom ratio of 6.7:1 is the most powerful of Motic’s stereomicroscopes providing detailed stereoscopic images up to 50X; a magnification of up to 200X is possible with the addition of opitional auxiliary lenses and eyepieces. Alternative contrast methods such as polarization or dark field microscopy are easily performed using optional accessories.

    Attaching a Moticam microscope camera turns the SMZ-171 into a complete instrument for sample inspection, manipulation, and documentation.     The Moticam 1080X is a stand-alone system works without computer and delivers an impressive 1080 (60P) live image on HDMI screen. Still images or HDMI videos from the microscope can be saved onto its removable SD card. To control image and capture parameters via a powerful onboard software, just connect a wireless mouse to the USB port.

    It can also be plugged into a Windows, OSX or Linux system through USB if you want work with the new Motic Images Plus 3.1.

    HDMI and USB signal even can be used to run the camera on HDMI and PC screen in a parallel mode, working with the computer and visualizing the image in a HD screen. With or without computer, thanks to its multi-output configuration the Moticam 1080X is ready to be implemented in your daily workflow.

This camera does not require a computer for standard operation once it has been setup on a microscope. Images can be captured directly onto an SD card at 5.0MP resolution. Connecting it with a USB cable to computer allows this camera to be used like any other Moticam with the supplied software. The BMH4000 versatility is underlined by its capability to display live images at 1080i resolution through the HDMI output port.

    The Moticam BMH4000 is for use with trinocular microscopes, fixed arm camera mounts, boom arms or macro cups. It should not be used with a gooseneck.
